Tell Us Your Story!

citiesofthedead.net isn’t a geneaology website. Our primary interest is history. That means we like a good story. Do you have one about an ancestor that is buried in New Orleans? We’d like for you to share your stories with us.

If you know where your ancestor is buried, we want to feature them on citiesofthedead.net. You’ll notice that most of our cemetery sections have a “families” or “personalities” section. Give us a tomb to photograph and a story to go with it, and we’ll put them together on one of those pages and make it part of the site.

Please note that this isn’t an offer to do your archival research! We just don’t have time for that, sorry. But if you can point us to where your relative is, we’ll get some decent photographs for you. Sounds like a good trade?  Great, then contact us and let’s get moving!
