As with all our cemeteries, St. Louis Number Three has a number of interesting tombs. The Hellenic Orthodox Society tomb is quite interesting, in that it’s built in a greek-orthodox style, and is worth a second look.

“Townhouse Tombs

This is a series of double (two vault) tombs to the right-hand side

Cresson Family

This tomb is interesting both for its red granite and the rounded top.

Traditional

There may be a number of “new ethnic communities in St. Louis Number Three, but there are still lots of Creole families with tombs here. These are classic French-style tombs, two doubles and a single, each enclosed with wrought-iron fencing.
