OK, I know, this is confusing. This page is for cemeteries actually located in Metairie.  Metairie Cemetery, despite its name, is classified as a cemetery at Canal Street.  It’s a couple of blocks off of Canal, by I-10 and Metairie Road, but it’s still in the city proper and is really an extension of the whole Canal cemeteries area. So, if you’re looking for cemeteries in Metairie, they’ll be here. If you’re looking for Metairie Cemetery, that’s in the Canal St. section.
