Girod Street Cemetery during the Civil War
I decided to start a page on Girod Street Cemetery, but ran into a bit of a dilemma. Girod Street was opened in 1822, but fell into serious disrepair in the early 20th century and had to be demolished by the 1950s. As a result, the photos of Girod Street are either very old (like this one) or depict a cemetery in ruins. We'll start with the intact cemetery first, and then add the ruins later.
